New Hampshire Professional Chapter of Engineers without Borders USA

In October 2016, four members of the EWB-NH Chapter traveled to the Bugaya Sub-county in the Buyende District of Uganda.  The team traveled to the region for six days to assess the needs of the community. The three main types of data collected during the trip included: 1) a community health assessment; 2) water quality screening from existing drinking water sources; 3) GPS mapping. The travel team also met with members of nine communities, and local and regional governmental and non-governmental organizations, to assess needs, describe the project, and discuss roles and responsibilities of the project participants.
