WELCOMES YOU

WHO WE ARE

We are a group of professionals in New Hampshire, from various backgrounds, volunteering together to empower communities to achieve clean and sustainable water supplies.

We are a Professional Chapter of Engineers Without Borders USA, which is a non-profit humanitarian organization that partners with local communities to design and build sustainable engineering projects (water supply, water treatment, construction, sanitation, energy, agriculture, etc.).  For more information:

We meet often as a chapter! For our upcoming meetings, check out our Events Page!

CURRENT PROJECT

Water Supply in Gwase, Uganda

EWB-NH is partnered with the Busoga Volunteers for Community Development (BuVoCoD) in a multi-year water supply project in the Bugaya Sub-County of the Buyende District of Uganda.

Our partnership began in 2016 with the goal of providing clean, sustainable water sources to nine villages. So far we have successfully installed five deep water supply wells, and we are working to install two more wells in 2020. Due to necessary precautions related to

COVID-19, our chapter is currently conducting "remote implementation" where we will not be on the ground monitoring progress, but doing so through remote partners.

We emphasize solutions that communities can self-sustain and aim to provide initial resources and engineering support to empower development of durable, clean, and productive water supply infrastructure.
